What is Pilbara Tasker?+
A local marketplace that connects people in the Pilbara who need a job completed with local tradies and everyday skilled people who can do it, from a quick handyman fix to a big weekend project.
Is it free to join?+
Yes, it's free to sign up, post jobs, browse work and send quotes. A 5% platform fee only applies when a job is actually paid, and it's added on top for the customer (taskers receive their full quoted amount).
Is my money safe?+
Yes. When you accept a quote you pay upfront, but the money is held securely by Stripe, and it's not released to the tasker until you mark the job complete. That protects both sides.
When does the tasker get paid?+
Only after you confirm the job is done and release the payment. The funds then pay out to the tasker's bank automatically, usually within a few business days.
How do reviews work?+
Reviews come only from real jobs completed and paid through the platform. The customer and the tasker each review the other, so they're genuine, not anonymous ratings.
